Terms and Conditions
Terms, conditions, cancellation policy and legal regulations applicable to SU Yachts yacht rental services.
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the relationship between SU Yachts Tourism and Trade Limited Company ("Company", "We") and any individual or legal entity renting yacht services ("Renter", "Customer", "You"). By making a reservation or payment, you are deemed to have accepted all provisions of this agreement.
Important Legal Notice
Pursuant to Article 15 of Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the 14-day right of withdrawal DOES NOT APPLY to contracts for leisure or recreational services scheduled for a specific date or period (including yacht tours).
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. Definitions
- Company: SU Yachts Tourism and Trade Limited Company
- Renter/Customer: Any individual or legal entity renting yacht services
- Yacht: The marine vessel subject to rental
- Tour: The yacht cruise conducted on the specified date, time, and route
- Additional Services: Catering, DJ, decoration, and similar complementary services
- Partner Yacht: Yachts belonging to third-party suppliers contracted by the Company
1.2. Scope of Agreement
This agreement covers all yacht rental services conducted in the Istanbul Bosphorus and surrounding areas. The agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey and is valid within the borders of the Republic of Turkey.
1.3. Acceptance of Agreement
Any of the following actions constitutes full acceptance of these terms:
- Making a reservation online or by phone
- Making a deposit or full payment
- Signing the reservation confirmation form
- Participating in the tour
2. RESERVATION AND PAYMENT
2.1. Reservation Process
- Reservations can be made via website, phone, or in person.
- Reservations are not confirmed until approved by the Company.
- The Company reserves the right to reject any reservation without providing a reason.
2.2. Payment Terms
- Deposit: A minimum of 30% of the total amount is collected at the time of reservation. The reservation is not confirmed without the deposit.
- Remaining Balance: Must be paid at least 24 hours before the tour date.
- Last Minute Reservations: For reservations made less than 3 days before the tour date, 100% of the total amount is collected upfront.
2.3. Payment Methods
Payments can be made via:
- Credit/Debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Bank transfer
- Cash (at company office only)
2.4. Invoice
Invoices including VAT are issued upon request. Invoice information must be provided during reservation or before the tour. Invoice information cannot be changed after the tour.
2.5. Pricing
- All prices are in Turkish Lira (TRY).
- Prices may change without prior notice.
- Price changes do not apply to confirmed reservations.
- Additional charges may apply for special days (public holidays, New Year's Eve, etc.).
3. CANCELLATION AND TRANSFER POLICY
Critical Information
Payments are NON-REFUNDABLE under any circumstances. Only date transfers or service credits may be provided under the conditions below.
3.1. Cancellation by Customer

| Less than 72 hours before tour | Full payment is forfeited. No date change or refund. |

3.2. Date Change
- Date change requests must be made at least 72 hours before the tour date.
- Only 1 (one) date change is permitted per customer.
- Date changes are subject to yacht and time slot availability.
- Any price difference for the new date must be paid by the customer.
- The new reservation obtained through date change cannot be cancelled.
3.3. Tour Duration Reduction
If the tour is ended early at the customer's request:
- Full tour fee applies, no partial refund.
- No claims can be made for unused time.
3.4. Customer Delay
- Being ready at the designated departure time is the customer's responsibility.
- Tour duration is not extended due to customer delay.
- For delays exceeding 15 minutes, the tour may start or be cancelled (at Company's discretion).
- Delays exceeding 30 minutes are considered no-show, and no-show rules apply.
4. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
4.1. Scope
Additional services are not included in the basic yacht rental fee and are priced separately:
- Food and beverages (catering)
- DJ service
- Live music
- Decoration
- Photography/videography
- Special event organization
4.2. Additional Service Cancellation
Important: Additional services not cancelled at least 24 hours before the tour will be charged in full.
- 24+ hours before: Additional service can be cancelled, no charge applied.
- Less than 24 hours: Full additional service fee is charged.
4.3. Guest Count Changes
- Guest count changes for tours with catering must be notified at least 48 hours before.
- Increases notified less than 48 hours before may not be accommodated.
- Decreases notified less than 48 hours before will be charged based on original guest count.
4.4. Special Requirements
Dietary requirements, allergy information, and special requests must be communicated at least 72 hours before the tour. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
5. WEATHER CONDITIONS AND FORCE MAJEURE
5.1. Normal Weather Conditions
Tours WILL PROCEED under the following weather conditions, and cancellation/refund is not applicable:
- Rain (non-severe)
- Cloudy weather
- Cool weather
- Light wind
- Fog (not endangering navigation safety)
Note: All our yachts have enclosed salons and heating systems.
5.2. Adverse Weather Conditions
Tours may be postponed by captain's decision under the following conditions:
- Storm or heavy rain
- High waves (2+ meters)
- Strong wind (6+ Beaufort)
- Coast Guard warning or sea departure ban
5.3. Weather-Related Postponement
- For tours postponed by the Company due to weather, a new date is arranged.
- No cash refund is provided, only date transfer.
- New date must be used within 6 months.
- If customer cannot agree on a new date, it is kept as service credit.
5.4. Customer-Requested Weather Cancellation
If the customer requests cancellation due to weather conditions:
- If the captain deems navigation safe, the tour proceeds.
- If customer refuses to participate, standard cancellation terms apply.
- Weather forecast changes are not grounds for cancellation.
5.5. Force Majeure
The following situations are considered force majeure and release the Company from liability:
- Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, tsunami, etc.)
- War, terrorist acts, civil unrest
- Epidemics and quarantine measures
- Decisions and prohibitions by official authorities
- Strikes, lockouts, and similar labor actions
- Infrastructure failures (electricity, fuel outages, etc.)
In force majeure situations, the Company will try to provide an alternative solution as soon as possible, but no compensation liability arises.
6. YACHT CHANGE AND TECHNICAL FAILURES
6.1. Technical Failure
In case of technical failure before or during the tour:
- The Company will try to provide an equivalent or higher-segment yacht.
- If an alternative yacht cannot be provided, the tour is postponed.
- For failures during the tour, safe return to shore is ensured.
6.2. Right to Change Yacht
- The Company reserves the right to change the yacht due to operational requirements.
- Customer will be notified if a change is made.
- The new yacht will have at least the same capacity and similar features.
- No compensation or discount claims can be made due to yacht change.
6.3. Complete Tour Cancellation
If the Company cancels the tour completely for any reason:
- An alternative date is offered first.
- If alternative date is not accepted, service credit is provided.
- Cash refund is only possible in exceptional cases at Company's discretion.
7. PARTNER YACHTS
7.1. Third-Party Suppliers
The Company may use yachts from contracted partner companies in addition to its own fleet.
- Partner yachts are selected to meet Company's quality standards.
- Partner yacht usage is communicated to customer in reservation confirmation or prior.
- Partner yacht usage is deemed accepted by customer.
7.2. Liability for Partner Yachts
- All terms of this agreement apply to partner yachts.
- For issues arising from partner yachts, Company mediates for resolution.
- Company cannot be held directly liable for damages caused by partner's fault.
8. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES AND CODE OF CONDUCT
8.1. Captain's Authority
- The captain is the highest authority on the yacht.
- All guests must comply with instructions from captain and crew.
- Captain has authority to end the tour or change route for safety reasons.
- Objections to captain's decisions do not entitle compensation or refund.
8.2. Prohibitions
- Alcohol: Providing or allowing alcohol consumption for individuals under 18 is strictly prohibited.
- Illegal Substances: Use of any drugs or illegal substances is strictly prohibited.
- Weapons and Explosives: Bringing to the yacht is strictly prohibited.
- Fireworks: Cannot be used without captain's permission.
8.3. Conduct Rules
- Not disturbing other guests and crew
- Using yacht equipment for intended purposes
- Not causing environmental pollution (throwing garbage into sea is prohibited)
- Avoiding excessive noise and disturbing behavior
- Obtaining captain's approval for swimming and diving
8.4. Capacity Limit
- Each yacht has a legally determined maximum passenger capacity.
- This capacity cannot be exceeded under any circumstances.
- Company does not accept liability for tours with excess passengers.
- If capacity excess is detected, tour will not start or will be stopped.
8.5. In Case of Violation
In case of violation of above rules:
- Captain may immediately end the tour.
- Violating guest(s) may be disembarked.
- No payment refund is provided.
- Any damages incurred are recovered from the guest.
9. DAMAGE AND COMPENSATION
9.1. Damage Liability
The Renter and guests are jointly and severally liable for all damage to the yacht and equipment during the tour.
- Damage to furniture, upholstery, and decoration
- Damage to technical equipment and devices
- Damage to glass, mirrors, and fragile items
- Stains and dirt requiring cleaning
9.2. Damage Assessment
- Yacht condition is inspected at tour start and end.
- Detected damages are documented in a report.
- Renter's signature is obtained or documented via video/photo.
9.3. Damage Recovery
- Damage costs are collected immediately.
- If payment is not made, legal action is initiated.
- Loss of income due to yacht being unusable during repairs may also be claimed.
9.4. Situations Outside Insurance Coverage
The following situations are not covered by insurance and are guest's responsibility:
- Intentional damage
- Damage caused under influence of alcohol or substances
- Damage resulting from non-compliance with safety instructions
- Damage from unauthorized area or equipment use
10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND VALUABLES
10.1. Disclaimer of Liability
The Company is not responsible for personal belongings and valuables kept by guests on the yacht.
- Company does not pay compensation in case of loss, theft, or damage.
- Bringing valuable items, jewelry, and large amounts of cash is not recommended.
- Protection of electronic devices is guest's responsibility.
10.2. Forgotten Items
- Contact should be made immediately for items forgotten on the yacht.
- Company keeps forgotten items for 30 days.
- Items not collected after 30 days are disposed of.
- If item shipping is requested, shipping cost is borne by guest.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VISUAL USE
11.1. Marketing Use
- Photos and videos taken by the Company or with customer approval during the tour may be used for marketing purposes.
- This content may be published on website, social media, and promotional materials.
- Names or identifying information will not be shared.
11.2. Objection to Use
If you do not want your images to be used:
- Notify in writing before the tour.
- Apply to info@suyachts.com after the tour.
- Applications are evaluated within 30 business days.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMER
12.1. Maximum Liability
The Company's maximum liability for any reason is limited to the total amount paid for the relevant tour.
12.2. Non-Recoverable Damages
The following damages cannot be claimed from the Company under any circumstances:
- Indirect damages
- Loss of profit
- Loss of business
- Moral damages
- Consequential damages
- Opportunity costs
12.3. Third-Party Damages
- Company is not responsible for damages caused by guests to third parties.
- Disputes among guests do not bind the Company.
- Company cannot be held directly liable for faults of third-party service providers (catering, DJ, etc.).
13. INSURANCE
13.1. Yacht Insurance
All our yachts are insured as legally required:
- Financial liability insurance
- Passenger protection
- Marine vessel comprehensive insurance
13.2. Personal Insurance Recommendation
Guests are recommended to obtain their own travel and health insurance:
- Personal accident insurance
- Travel health insurance
- Property insurance
13.3. Situations Outside Insurance Coverage
The following situations are not covered by insurance:
- Accidents under influence of alcohol or substances
- Damages resulting from intentional acts
- Damages from non-compliance with safety instructions
14. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION (KVKK)
14.1. Legal Compliance
The Company operates in full compliance with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.
14.2. Data Processing Purposes
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Reservation and service provision
- Payment processing
- Communication and notifications
- Fulfillment of legal obligations
- Service quality improvement
14.3. Detailed Information

15. RIGHT TO MODIFY
15.1. Update Authority
- The Company reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
- Updates become effective on the date published on the website.
- Changes do not apply to past reservations.
15.2. Terms at Time of Reservation
Your reservation is subject to the terms in effect at the time of reservation. In case of doubt, terms at the reservation date prevail.
16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
16.1. Jurisdiction
Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising from this agreement.
16.2. Applicable Law
This agreement is subject to the laws of the Republic of Turkey and shall be interpreted according to Turkish law.
16.3. Mediation
The parties agree to first apply to mediation in case of dispute. If mediation fails, parties may apply to court.
17. EFFECTIVENESS AND ACCEPTANCE
17.1. Effectiveness
These terms and conditions become effective on the date published on the website.
17.2. Declaration of Acceptance
By performing any of the following actions, you declare that you have read, understood, and accepted all provisions of this agreement:
- Filling out the reservation form or making a reservation by phone
- Making a deposit or full payment
- Participating in the tour
